July 2012 – August 2013: “Review and update of the National Implementation Plan for reduction and elimination of the Persistent Organic Pollutants – POPs in the Republic of Macedonia“
This project was realized with an aim to update the National implementation plan of the Stockholm Convention in the Republic of Macedonia for POPs chemicals which was necessary to be aligned with the updated list of POPs chemicals containing 9 new persistent organic pollutants (including new industrial POPs, pesticides and unintentional POPs) The updated NIP was reviewed and approved by the governing institutions and afterwards, approved on behalf of the Government as important strategical document in 2017.
